I spent the last year working at Offline.now. My role as the UX Designer and Content Coordinator taught me about the fast paced and ever-changing nature of a startup.
With my team we created the website and brand identity from the ground up.
Home Page
I led the UX strategy for the home page. We wanted it to be eye-catching, but not overwhelming.
I don't think the page is perfect. When I look at the image from a user's perspective, I wonder: what is the purpose of this website?
Performance Optimisation
As a strategist and designer, the website speed was not top of mind for me. However, I learned the importance of managing different priorities.
I learned about the intersection of accessibility and design. For example, we increased the top navigation font size by 15% to reach this perfect score. As well, I have gained a deeper understanding of SEO.
